Martini Grand Prix 700 race fuel is a technological break through in Australia. This custom race fuel formulation is designed to comply with the requirements of the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport (CAMS) and the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) Schedule G fuel specification for high-speed racing cars. Martini GP700 can also be used when requiring improved power out-put and protection from high-speed, high load engine detonation.
The development of GP700 is the product of extensive laboratory research to develop a superior blend of hydrocarbons and oxygenates that will provide smooth and rapid combustion to significantly boost power output.
As part of the engines normal combustion process, oxygen from the air intake is combined with the fuel to ignite in the combustion chamber. If this ignition process is not smooth, knocking or pinging will occur thereby causing loss of power, poor fuel economy, overheating and possibly even engine damage due to detonation.
Martini’s custom race formulation contains a state of the art oxygenate to provide a rapid release of oxygen. Martini has developed a superior method to improve this combustion process by chemically adding oxygen to our hi-octane race fuel. By increasing this oxygen level in the combustion zone we now have changed the stoichiometric ration and this creates a denser charge which significantly increases power.

Martini GP700 is designed for competition, high performance and elite motorsport applications. Martini GP700 has been extensively proven in both track and dynamometer testing. The CAMS/FIA maximum RON 101.9/MON 90 octane numbers also make it suitable for older technology carburettor motors with compression ratios up to 13:1. It is especially well suited to modern high performance normally aspirated and turbo-charged/super-charged engines with sophisticated computer controlled engine management systems.
